Today is Christmas! Last day of the stress to make your family happy. After a long morning with the kids, unwrapping gifts and cleaning up after them many of times. Its time to cook. Pooped but happy to feed my family, I spend 5 hours making dinner. My sweethearts make a request for apple pastries. Geesh! Are you guys serious? Being the happy person I am, I decided I’ll make them. Pastry dough, apples, special sauce, baking, and done. They come out great. I call my daughter ” The apples are done”. She comes in the kitchen, stares me right in the eyes and says ” Mom, I just like the crust on top. I don’t want the rest of the pastry (Sad Face)”. Ok, that’s it, somebody shoot me!!!! ROTFLMAO 🙂
