Breakfast is my favorite meal to cook. You can play around with different ways to make eggs, pancakes, and French toast. French Toast has always been a favorite of mine. My grandma taught me from very young her secret to a great French Toast, it’s the edges. The coating on the edges from the cooked sugar, gives the French Toast more of a candied taste. Looks like breakfast, feels more like dessert..
1. Egg wash, should include: Eggs, Milk/Heavy Cream/Buttermilk, Vanilla Extract, Cinnamon, and a optional Nutmeg.
2. In another bowl add: 1/2 cup of White Sugar, 1 tablespoon of Brown Sugar, pinch of Cinnamon.
3. Dip Bread in Egg Wash, then dip edges of bread in Sugar Mix. Then put bread in pan. Simple! 🙂
